This is how the forkseal, washer and bushing sit together when they're inside the fork leg. When assembled, they'll all be around the chrome stanchion. In this photo, you can also see that there's another bush at the bottom of the stanchion. It sits in a groove in the stanchion and has a teflon coating on the outside. It's job is to slide up the inside of the fork leg with as little friction as possible. |
